Chicken Bacon Caesar Casserole Recipe

This casserole brings together comfort and creamy Caesar flavor in a way that’s destined to be a hit around the table

Ingredients

  • 2.5 lbs cooked chicken breast cubed or shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 4 oz sour cream
  • 4 oz mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp dried minced onion
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon cooked and chopped (or 1/4 cup bacon crumbles)
  • 2 oz shredded mozzarella
  • 12 oz raw or frozen spinach thawed and drained (optional for added greens)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and dried minced onion; mix until smooth.
  • Fold in the cooked chicken, thawed spinach (if using), grated parmesan, and half of the chopped bacon. Mix well to coat everything in the creamy sauce.
  • Spread the mixture in a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the mozzarella and remaining bacon evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 35 minutes, until hot and bubbly with a slightly golden top.
  • Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Best with a simple side salad or fresh greens!

Optional Tips

  • Substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt for a lighter finish.
  • Crisp the bacon ahead and cook chicken in bacon drippings for extra flavor.
  • Add mushrooms or use rotisserie chicken for added convenience.
